The number just keeps growing but after the Council decided in their wisdom to turn Manchester into....
...the world's biggest beer garden (something to do with Football and Rangers FC), we had a great day educating a couple of thousand Rangers fans, some of whom were a little under the weather, on the virtues of the humble burrito (for that day only - our "special spicy wrap").
In all seriousness, it was a great event, and a brilliant atmosphere, spoilt only by the man from TV Rentals forgetting to plug in his arial. Unfortunately this did seem to upset a very small minority of fans who thought that beating up a couple of coppers would make them feel better. Shame!
The smell of beer has slowly subsided, and thankfully the restaurant in 1PG has not been damaged, and all of our staff got home safely. Better still MoniKa, our Assistant Manager, managed to feature on BBC news at 10, and our Grill Chef sold some of his mobile footage to a couple of TV cameras.
