Can 2012 get any better?

Just when you thought 2012 couldn't possibly get any better...it flipping well did! Because Thursday 23rd August 2012 was the day that Barburrito Deansgate gave away 2012 burritos. That's right, 2012 customers got their burrito for FREE! Gratis. Zilch. Zero. Nothing...you get the idea.
It's been an extraordinary year for the country, with the Queen's Jubilee, Olympics, and Paralympics. And it's also been a great year for Barburrito [We're selling more burritos than ever and even opening a store in London!], so we decided that a party was needed! A free burrito party!
Beginning at 11am, after days of preparation, the queue soon began to form along Deansgate. Customers and our Barburrito team were entertained with live music from La Tinto Bros who performed their funky Latin songs throughout the give-away. Unbelievably it took just five short hours to get through the 2012 burritos, we were even making a burrito once every 15 seconds during the lunch time rush. Now that is good fast food!

BURRIT-O-METER

Hello Loyal Barburritans,
I personally wanted to tell you that at the moment some of our loyal Barburritans are hving trouble registering their Burrit-o-meter.
We are aware of these problems and have contacted the software team about the issue. They believe it is a browser issue, as apparently the external website is only fully compatible with Internet Explorer.
We understand that this is not acceptable and therefore we are working with the software company to resolve this as soon as possible.
